General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that the jig will soon be up for Jim Harvey (Greg Evigan). Franco’s (Roger Howarth) on the verge of a major breakthrough. Next week, he’ll have a shocking realization about his childhood and what really happened to Drew (Billy Miller).
Franco has struggled to understand his complicated history. He remembers loving Drew like a brother. Franco even has memories of little Andy calling him his best friend. They were apparently inseparable, so how did it all go so horribly wrong? Why would Franco push Drew down the stairs?
It’s obvious that Franco is innocent. He recently recalled locking little Andy in a trunk, but that probably isn’t anything he should feel guilty about either. It looks like creepy Jim was abusing the boys back then. He dated Betsy (Deborah Strang), so he might’ve viewed the kids as pests who cramped his style.
Franco undoubtedly protected Drew as best as he could. He was most likely taking whatever Jim dished out and keeping Drew safe from the drama. That is, of course, until the staircase incident. It seems Franco was no longer able to save Drew from evil Jim’s wrath.
Jim may have given Drew the shove that nearly killed him. He might’ve told Betsy that Franco was a little psycho. Jim could’ve blamed Franco to divert suspicion and get rid of Drew at the same time. Betsy admitted that she sent Drew away for his own protection.
However, it’s also possible that Betsy’s lying out of fear. She’s told several different stories about what happened to Drew, so maybe she knows her latest one isn’t exactly accurate. General Hospital spoilers say Betsy will send a mysterious message to Franco. It appears it could play a role in jogging his memory.
Will Betsy hint that Jim’s responsible? Even if she doesn’t know the whole story, she may have suspicions. Since Jim’s still in touch with her, Betsy could still be facing threats. Regardless, GH spoilers say Drew was probably sent away because of Jim’s dangerous outbursts, not Franco’s.
That news will turn Franco’s life upside down and shift Drew’s way of thinking as well. Will this revelation spark memories for Drew? Will knowing about the abuse trigger some flashbacks?
