General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Elizabeth Hendrickson’s gearing up for a big debut. She has a brand-new role on General Hospital, but this isn’t her first rodeo in the soap world. Hendrickson kicked off her daytime drama career on ABC’s All My Children. She eventually landed at CBS’ The Young and the Restless before her exit in 2017. Now ABC has a new home for Hendrickson in Port Charles!
Hendrickson recently started taping, so it won’t be long until her character’s first GH scenes air. She shared a sweet Instagram post to celebrate her new role and offer plenty of gratitude. Hendrickson gushed, “From the hospital to the salon! At my other daytime gig today but SO happy to announce I found a new home, on the network where it all began.”
It’s clear that Hendrickson’s excited about all great storylines ahead. She also noted that she’s seen some familiar faces on set. “Feeling extremely welcomed already thanks to so many of my old soap pals,” Hendrickson said. She included the names of several costars who have made this transition easy and fun. One of those names was Billy Miller, who plays Drew on GH.
Of course, fans of The Young and the Restless will recall when Miller played Billy Abbott. He was in a hot pairing with Hendrickson’s character, Chloe Mitchell. Y&R viewers affectionately called them “Chilly,” but their chemistry was actually scorching!
With that in mind, GH will likely try pairing them up once more. Since Hendrickson thanked Miller in her Instagram post, that could serve as evidence of some upcoming scenes together. They’ve obviously been on set at the same time, so that’s good news for anyone who wants them as an onscreen duo.
General Hospital might as well give it a shot, especially since Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Jason (Steve Burton) are inching closer to a reunion. Drew and Kim (Tamara Braun) are falling flat with fans so far, so the show could capitalize on Hendrickson and Miller’s old chemistry. Drew might meet up with a new woman in town or another face from his currently unknown past.
