General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that one ABC soap star recently faced a scary ordeal. Unfortunately, this dangerous shocker came at the worst possible time! Scarlett Fernandez hasn’t been around much as GH’s Charlotte lately, but she’s been busy in her personal life. On social media, Fernandez revealed that she made the gymnastics team a few days ago.
Sadly, the celebration didn’t last long. Fernandez soon suffered an unrelated injury and it was a real doozy. She won’t be able to do gymnastics or any other physical activities for a while. Fernandez offered General Hospital fans the scoop on Twitter. This unexpected blow was disappointing, but she still seems to be in good spirits.
“Just 3 days after I make the gymnastics team I fall and break my clavicle,” Fernandez said. “Found out today I don’t need surgery! Need ideas for low key things to do while my friends are at the pool!” Since Fernandez didn’t end up on the operating table, that’s certainly a bright spot in all this. She’s also looking for interesting hobbies to try out, so she’s obviously making the best of a bad situation.
Broolyn Rae Silzer (Emma) can relate to what Fernandez is going through. Thanks to an injury she suffered while playing soccer, Silzer’s arm is stuck in a cast for four weeks. She replied to Fernandez’s tweet and suggested that she’s in the same boat. “Oh no sweet friend! We are both injured!!! Get well soon! Xoxo,” Silzer said.
Fernandez revealed more details about her recovery process on Instagram. It’ll definitely take a while to get back to normal. Fernandez admitted, “It has been very painful, and I can’t do ANYTHING active for at least two months…” That’s a bummer, but GH viewers are sending her lots of love and sympathy. We’re all rooting for Fernandez to hang in there and have some fun this summer anyway.
