General Hospital Spoilers: Hayley Erin Addresses GH Exit – Reveals Plans for Kiki

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Kiki’s (Hayley Erin) situation will get worse before it gets better. Back when Dr. Bensch (James DePaiva) thought he could seduce Kiki, he went out of his way to make things easy for her. The disturbing doc was constantly flirting and giving Kiki help with her studies.

Dr. Bensch was the deciding vote for the shadow program, so he naturally voted for the woman he wanted to have sex with. TJ’s (Tequan Richmond) test scores were higher, but that didn’t stop Dr. Bensch from recommending his favorite gal. He made sure Kiki got an opportunity she didn’t completely deserve.

Of course, Kiki’s rejection changed all that. Now Dr. Bensch is as cold as ice! When Kiki wanted to delay her first day because of Avery’s (Ava and Grace Scarola) disappearance, the unsympathetic doc said no. Dr. Bensch clearly wanted Kiki for sexual pleasure and now that it’s off the table, he’s got no use for her.

General Hospital spoilers say this is only the beginning of Kiki’s suffering. Dr. Bensch may view her as a threat to his career. He could try to drive Kiki out of medicine and get revenge in the process. The harder Dr. Bensch makes this shadow program, the easier it’ll be to get rid of Kiki at GH.

Then again, Dr. Bensch may have a different strategy in mind. He might hope that if he makes Kiki miserable enough, she’ll cave in and agree to sleep with him. Dr. Bensch may eventually suggest that life could change for Kiki, but the ball’s in her court.

Whatever the case, this storyline has many General Hospital fans nervous. You might’ve heard that Hayley Erin scored a role in a pilot called The Perfectionists. It’s a Pretty Little Liars spinoff, so this series is expected to move forward and potentially be a real hit for Freeform.

Some viewers are worried about the current drama with Dr. Bensch. It sort of seems like an exit setup for Kiki, so it’s not surprising that fans are fearful. One Twitter user decided to ask Erin point-blank if she’d be staying at GH. Erin later replied, “I suppose I’ll address this now…I have no plans to leave and hopefully it will all work out.” She included a fingers-crossed emoji for good measure.

It’s tough to believe Erin can squeeze in major roles on two shows, but it might be possible if she lightens the load at General Hospital. Kiki could even drop to recurring and still stick around. Erin’s comments obviously were cautious, but she wants to make this two-show arrangement work.

This Dr. Bensch storyline may not be an exit strategy after all. Erin certainly doesn’t seem to think it is. Unless she’s fibbing to prevent fan chaos, it looks like Kiki’s departure isn’t in motion yet. If Erin does decide to leave at some point, the show can come up with a way to write Kiki out or start a recast hunt.

What do you think about Erin’s attempt to do both shows? Are you glad that’s at least the plan? Can Erin pull it off or is that wishful thinking? We’ll give you updates as other GH news comes in. Stay tuned to the ABC soap and don’t forget to check CDL often for the latest General Hospital spoilers, updates and news.
