General Hospital Spoilers: New GH Character – Huge Casting Leak Offers Hot Story Clues – Evil Jim Dies, Had More Victims

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that the ABC soap has plans for a new character and an interesting story development. A leaked casting side offers some potential info about Franco’s (Roger Howarth) search for answers. Liz (Rebecca Herbst) suggested that Franco should through his drama and come home to her. That’s exactly what he intends to do.

GH fans can tell that Jim Harvey’s (Greg Evigan) to blame for Franco and Drew’s (Billy Miller) childhood trauma. It appears they’ll get confirmation on that soon enough. Once Franco knows Jim’s the real villain, he can dig a bit deeper. There’ll still be more facts for Franco to uncover.

In the casting side, a character named Hugh Parker shows up at Kelly’s looking for someone. Hugh is likely a code name for Franco. When he meets with a guy named Ben Rogers, “Hugh” jokes that they should have “victim” tattooed across their foreheads. That certainly sounds like Franco’s style of humor.

We can go ahead and assume that’s the case, so let’s call him Franco as we examine the other information. The casting side lists Ben as a man in his late 20s. Franco will point out that Ben is younger than he expected. It seems he’ll be surprised to learn Jim targeted someone who’d be in that age range.

Ben will reply that he knew “him” after Franco did. He’ll talk about a bunch of others who were conned and lost everything. We know Jim was running quite a scam with all the natural gas drama. It makes sense that he did similar things in the past.

Franco will indicate that he made phone calls to many victims. That may be part of his continued quest for closure. Ben will admit to working for him, even after his initial suffering. He’ll allude to sticking around because he didn’t have anywhere else to turn.

Franco will note that “nobody shed a tear when he was arrested,” so it seems Jim may land behind bars before long. However, what follows in the script makes it seem that “arrested” is used as a euphemism for “killed” in the script. After Franco’s ‘no tears’ statement above, Ben says “everyone else in the office was stunned but I felt shock, relief, even grief…” Shedding no tears combined with shock, relief, and grief sound much more like responses to Jim’s death, not his arrest.

General Hospital may have changed some of the details here to hide what’s ahead in this storyline. It’s possible that Ben actually faced some physical abuse as a kid like Drew and Franco. It’s also possible that Jim’s abuse came in other forms. He may have targeted teens, groomed them for his company and caused them to lose everything. There are some hints about that in this casting side.

Regardless, it appears Franco will make it his mission to take Jim down in the coming weeks and all signs are that he succeeds. The arrest, which probably means a death, that was mentioned may be a result of Franco’s hard work. Of course Franco could get an assist from Drew or even Jason since GH buzz says that Jake and Liz will encounter evil Jim incoming episodes. He may want to make sure all of Jim’s victims get the justice they deserve.

This could lead to an intriguing introduction for Ben or whatever his name turns out to be when he hits the air. Will this guy be sticking around? General Hospital spoilers suggest that we could use someone in that age range, so it’d be great if he’s a permanent cast addition.
