General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that since Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) returned to Port Charles, he has had more heartache than any man should endure in any lifetime – Sam (Kelly Monaco), he loved more than life itself, has moved on with the man now known as his twin brother, Drew Cain (Billy Miller). His children don’t recognize him and one doesn’t even acknowledge him at all.
Perhaps what is most heart wrenching, is his godson, Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) has been tragically killed in a car bombing, meant for someone else, or has he? General Hospital spoilers tease that Jason will be doing lots of investigating over the next couple of months as he tries to find and apprehend those responsible for the terrible Twin Memory Study. During his typically brilliant investigations GH buzz is that he will find clues that Morgan survived the bombing and is alive.
General Hospital has its fair share of villains that could have taken Jason and used Dr. Andre Maddox’ (Anthony Montgomery) brain mapping experiment on the twins, and any one of them could have a vendetta deep enough with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to take his son.
The bombing was huge news, and the search was massive; Morgan could have easily survived the explosion, as he wasn’t in the car when it happened. Sonny also told Drew that Morgan was a very strong swimmer – anyone could have found Morgan before rescuers arrived, especially someone who was living along the coastline!
Dr. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) was a mad scientist who was madly in love with Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) and would have done anything for the man. He always craved power, and Sonny controlled Port Charles, maybe he wanted Morgan for leverage at some point.
Jason might wind up at Spoon Island, since it is on the water – leading him to investigate a now deceased Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers). Fans know that she was involved somehow in the Memory mapping as she fondly referred to Drew as her “soldier boy.”
Helena had no qualms about eliminating or abducting anyone when it suited her. She also could have kept Morgan because of her connection to Jerry Jacks; we all know he has kidnapped his niece Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) to get what he needed.
As Jason digs deeper he might uncover some shocking news regarding Morgan as well. Could the people responsible for the twin mapping also have taken Morgan – or will Jason uncover that Morgan has amnesia and has simply been living his life, not knowing there are people desperately missing him?
General Hospital spoilers reveal fans of the ABC daytime drama know that when there isn’t a body, at some point the person reappears. This would be the ideal time for Morgan to return making Jason into a hero, but what would this mean for Drew.
Drew was at the scene when the car exploded and Morgan fell off the ridge into the frigid waters below? Remember how Drew kept telling Sonny how much he felt like a failure for not being able to save Morgan that day – could those words come back to haunt him now that he knows he was a Navy SEAL in what feels like a former life?
With The CW’s series Valor’s uncertain future, Bryan Craig, who portrayed the recurring character Adam Coogan, could very well be available to reprise the role of Morgan Corinthos, or this could be the ideal time to recast the role. How do you feel about Morgan returning to Port Charles?
