General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that things are about to head downhill for Carly (Laura Wright). She’s already facing a bleak situation thanks to Nelle’s (Chloe Lanier) bogus claims. Carly would never intentionally put her grandchild’s life at stake. Nelle’s staircase fall was an accident, but she’ll refuse to budge on her accusations against Carly.
Unfortunately, that means Carly’s facing two counts of attempted murder. Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) will fight to get Carly off the hook, but she’ll run into some trouble. General Hospital spoilers suggest that Diane will lose the battle for Carly’s freedom.
However, General Hospital spoilers say it at least looks like Carly’s charges may be reduced. Diane might secure a deal that will help a bit. Nelle may even cooperate to earn points with Michael (Chad Duell). Of course, she’ll still want Carly locked up and that’s definitely going to happen.
GH fans can expect Carly to have another major outburst. She’ll look unhinged, which should convince the judge that she belongs in a mental institution. Carly would rather do her time there than in prison, so she’ll try to focus on the positive side of all this.
Jason (Steve Burton) will want to lift Carly’s spirits even more. He’ll assure Carly that he’s going to get her out of this mess. Jason will hope he can prove Nelle’s lying and get Carly back home. Sonny (Maurice Benard) will remain concerned about Carly’s mental state, but Jason hopefully won’t give up on his bestie. He’s apparently the only person Carly can rely on.
General Hospital spoilers say Carly’s mental institution stint will be rough, but Jason can take care of business on the outside. If Diane happens to get Carly out on some technicality, that’d give her a chance to help Jason with his mission. Regardless, Nelle’s going to pay the price for her haunting plot and the deception that followed.
Even if Carly can’t prove Nelle lied, she can certainly find other ways of hurting her. The whole Zackary Grant situation is still unresolved. GH could revisit that and let Carly come up with proof of murder. It might be fake evidence, but Carly wouldn’t care!
