General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Maxie West (Kirsten Storms) will face some big changes in the weeks ahead. She dropped hints about dating Peter August (Wes Ramsey), but actually doing it will still prove difficult. Maxie has mourned the loss of Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) for quite some time. She understands that she can’t stay stuck in grief forever, but how can she move on from her true love?
Maxie’s problem is further complicated by the person she happens to be attracted to. Peter lied about his real identity and played a huge role in Nathan’s death. If Peter hadn’t been so hung up on getting revenge, Nathan probably wouldn’t have ended up in the path of Faison’s bullet.
Maxie’s let go of her anger toward Peter, but his actions may always linger in the back of her mind. It’s not about resentment; it’s about loyalty. Peter is also Nathan’s half-brother, so Maxie will deal with complicated feelings as things with Peter heat up. She may get scared off and pull back out of guilt.
However, General Hospital seems determined to pair Maxie and Peter up. They’ll need a way to overcome any final hurdles, so GH will pull it off with an adventure. Peter and Maxie’s storyline will take a surprising turn when they team up on something. Life will throw a lot at them, but it’ll manage to bring them closer.
Will Maxie help Peter investigate something? Will it be related to Lulu Falconeri’s (Emme Rylan) pursuit of a hot scoop or something else? If Lulu goes missing thanks to Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom), that might be a good reason for Peter and Maxie to join forces. They’d both be very invested in Lulu’s well-being.
Of course, Maxie and Peter’s mothers will play a big role in what’s ahead for them. Ryan will grow increasingly daring with his murderous moves. Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) will take on a larger part in Ryan’s plot soon. Maxie could easily land in harm’s way because of that, which could put a fearful Peter at the center of it all.
As for Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), she’ll strengthen her bond with Peter and that’ll be partly due to Maxie. General Hospital spoilers say Maxie will keep nudging Peter in the right direction. When a crisis strikes, Peter will need Anna as much as she needs him.
