General Hospital spoilers tease that Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) secret identity will not be secret for very much longer and there will be repercussions for Maxie (Kirsten Storms). In the episode of March 14, Peter overheard part of a conversation Jason (Steve Burton) had with Sam (Kelly Monaco) in which Jason revealed his plans to go to Europe to chase down some leads on Faison (Anders Hove) and Heinrik.
Later, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) sent a text to Peter to meet him in the Crimson offices and warned him to cool it down with Maxie. Valentin told him to keep his distance, lest their closeness causes her even more grief than what she’s already dealing with should his secret identity as Heinrik be revealed. Peter, of course, did not like this advice, and most likely will not heed it, since he does not want to abandon Maxie in her time of need.
Maxie has gone to great lengths to keep her pregnancy stress-free as much as possible, given the circumstances she has found herself in with the untimely death of Nathan (Ryan Paevey). She seems to have become somewhat emotionally dependent on Peter as a close friend and confidant and in so doing, has naturally become a bit vulnerable to him as well.
It would seem that others, especially Valentin and Nina (Michelle Stafford), can tell that Peter is much closer to Maxie than is appropriate, and Peter himself can’t (or won’t) admit how deep he’s gotten, and apparently, Maxie can’t tell either.
As Valentin warned, in Maxie’s vulnerable state, and as much as she has become dependent on Peter, there could be grievous consequences should she find out Peter is actually Faison’s other son Heinrik, and partly the impetus for Nathan’s untimely death. General Hospital spoilers say that not only will Maxie find out, but it will be such a shock that she will go into premature labor! Then how guilty will Peter feel for not heeding Valentin’s warning?
