General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Jason (Steve Burton) will remain committed to helping Carly (Laura Wright). Since he’s seemingly the only one in her corner, Jason’s loyalty will be extremely important. There’d be nobody on Carly’s side without him, so Jason knows his support his critical.
However, Jason may be able to gain an ally eventually. Sonny (Maurice Benard) feels like Carly is really losing it, which means Jason will need to search elsewhere for a team player. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) believes Nelle’s story as well, so she’s out.
That’s too bad since Joss has proven to be a super sleuth in the past. She showed off some serious skills when she helped Oscar (Garren Stitt) search for his father. Nevertheless, there could be someone else who’s perfect to take Nelle down. Jason just has to work on getting this person on board!
Michael (Chad Duell) would be the ideal ally for Jason in the months ahead. Maybe Jason will help Michael see the light. In fact, Jason may not have to work too hard. Michael gave Carly a chance to explain herself and later told Nelle his mom’s claims were outrageous. That reaction was strange when you think about everything Nelle’s put his family through.
Is Michael really falling for Nelle’s deception or is he just gaining her trust to see what she’ll do? We can’t rule out the idea that Michael’s dumb enough to be duped again, but it’s odd that he’d turn against Carly so fast. There may be more to Michael’s stance than meets the eye.
Nelle has done nothing but scheme, lie and manipulate since she arrived in town. What would make Michael think she’s telling the truth this time? It’s possible Michael simply doesn’t use his brain, which is common for plenty of GH characters. Still, we can hold out hope that Michael will actually beat Nelle at her own game. The best destruction plan would be to out-scheme this schemer.
Even if Michael doesn’t have this plot in mind just yet, Jason could convince him soon enough. General Hospital spoilers say Jason will play an even bigger role in Michael’s life this summer. Perhaps that’s because Jason will show him Nelle’s deceit and team up with him to destroy her.
Michael might feign support for Nelle until he can get his hands on his kid, free Carly and kick his “baby mama” to the curb. Whether Nelle ends up in prison or not, Michael may cut all ties and score custody. It sounds like Nelle could lose big time no matter how this shakes out!
