General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Mike (Max Gail) is really enjoying his days at the memory care facility. He plays cards, hangs out with the guys, and has met a lovely lady named Yvonne (Janet Hubert). Mike mentioned Yvonne in a conversation with Stella (Vernee Watson) as a lady he was particularly fond of, and we’ll get to see Yvonne starting Friday, December 7.
It will be great to see Mike interacting with his peers and having some fun. So much of his life before starting day care was spent hanging around the Corinthos estate and wondering where he fit in. But now he’s part of a group of his peers and he can live more fully.
Of course, part of living more fully means that he can embark on a romantic relationship. And that’s where Yvonne comes in. Yvonne’s story remains to be seen, but she’ll be a fellow patient at the day care facility. She’ll likely be someone who Mike enjoys spending time with and he’ll be eager to introduce her to his family and friends.
Stella will probably be very interested in meeting Yvonne. Stella and Mike are more than just social worker and client; they are good friends and each has a special place in the other’s heart. They flirt innocently, but deep down Stella wants Mike to be happy and if she thinks Yvonne is good for Mike, then she’ll be all for it.
We’ll see just what happens between Mike and Yvonne. Hopefully, they can help each other through this phase of their lives and their shared memory difficulties and be of comfort to each other. Mike certainly deserves some happiness!
