General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, January 22, tease that Anna (Finola Hughes) will urge Sonny (Maurice Benard) shift his strategy. She’ll argue that if Sonny orchestrates a meeting between Faison (Anders Hove) and his son, it’ll just start a war. Anna will offer alternatives, but Sonny may still think this is their best shot at taking Faison down for good.
Regardless, Anna will agree to help Sonny and Jason (Steve Burton) with their mission. They all want to put an end to Faison’s reign of terror. Meanwhile, Faison will decide what he’s going to do with Dr. Obrecht (Kathleen Gati). He just knocked her out near the door of Anna’s house.
Dr. O will have to face the music soon enough. Faison isn’t happy about being deceived, so Dr. Obrecht will certainly be in a tight spot. At GH, Nelle (Chloe Lanier) will have something to show Michael (Chad Duell). She’ll smile and ask what he thinks, but Michael won’t seem too happy.
Perhaps Nelle will provide an ultrasound picture for Michael to look at. As all of this becomes quite real, it’ll add to Michael’s panic. He’s not sure he’s ready to be a dad, especially when Nelle is this child’s mother. Michael will have his work cut out for him if this baby actually enters the world. Of course, there’s still plenty of time for things to go wrong!
Other General Hospital spoilers say Curtis (Donnell Turner) will wish Drew (Billy Miller) good luck. It’s Drew and Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) wedding night, so they’re about to make a big commitment. Drew will be beaming over the upcoming event. He can’t wait to make Sam his wife.
Sam loves Drew and wants to marry him, but she’ll struggle to get Jason off her mind. It looks like Sam will try to hide her doubts from Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Molly (Haley Pullos). At some point, Sam will just let go and focus on Drew. She’ll hope they have a bright future ahead of them.
On the footbridge, Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) will try to talk some sense into Jason. He’ll feel like Sam’s marriage to Drew is a huge mistake. Jason will insist that it’s Sam’s choice, but Spin will think it’s the wrong one. He’ll argue that Sam’s sacrificing her own happiness for Drew’s sake. Spinelli will contend that Jason’s doing the same thing. He’ll push his pal to step up and get Sam back.
Carly (Laura Wright) will also make a last-ditch effort to reunite Sam and Jason. However, everyone’s final plans will fail. Drew and Sam are getting married and there’s nothing anyone can do to stop them.
Finally, Laura (Genie Francis) will fill Lulu (Emme Rylan) in on Spencer’s (Nicholas Bechtel) accident. Lulu will hate to hear that Lulu has to drop out of the race for mayor, but Spencer has to come first. We’ll give you updates as other General Hospital news comes in.
