General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, January 29, tease that Anna (Finola Hughes) will get a bit rattled in the park. When she hears a noise, Anna will lift her gun and call out to the person who made it. She’s expecting Heinrik, who we believe to be Peter August (Wes Ramsey). He showed up to spy in Friday’s episode, but it looks like he’ll chicken out and bail on this meeting.
Instead, Jason (Steve Burton) will arrive. General Hospital spoilers say Jason will explain what happened during his showdown with Faison (Anders Hove). Anna will wish the bullet had killed him. She’s tired of the constant battles and deadly threats. Anna will just want all of this to be over, so Jason will offer reassurance. One way or another, he’ll promise Faison is done!
Meanwhile, Faison will struggle to survive at GH. Finn (Michael Easton) will do his best to keep Faison alive, but it won’t be easy. Nevertheless, Faison might make it for another round of this war. Even if he doesn’t, there’s somebody else who knows all about the memory mapping study. Jason might be able to pry some answers out of Peter, but he has to learn who he really is first.
Nathan (Ryan Paevey) will also be fading fast. General Hospital spoilers say Griffin (Matt Cohen) will work to save Nathan’s life. Once Nathan’s monitors start going off, Griffin will begin chest compressions. He’ll be desperate to bring Nathan back and help him recover.
It appears Griffin will get Nathan’s heart going again, so that’s good news. Nathan needs one more chance to tell Maxie (Kirsten Storms) he loves her. Maxie will experience great relief later this week, so Nathan may not go out like this.
General Hospital spoilers state that Nathan’s exit is indeed looming, but GH could pull a few tricks. Port Charles will believe Nathan is dead, but that doesn’t necessarily mean he will be! For now, Maxie will get grilled in the waiting area. Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) will want a play-by-play of everything that transpired at Crimson.
Maxie will note that Faison fired a shot at Peter, who eventually got up and called the paramedics for Nathan. Jordan will wonder why Peter’s off running around town if he was wounded. That should perplex Maxie as well. Peter definitely didn’t seem hurt, so maybe he suspected Faison would retaliate. He might’ve planned ahead with a bulletproof vest.
If not, Peter could’ve faked being hit to avoid injury or death. Either way, Jordan will want to track Peter down. At Wyndemere, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) will seek info on Lulu (Emme Rylan). He’ll ask if Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) and Nina (Michelle Stafford) have seen her.
Lulu managed to find some secret tunnels, so let’s hope she’s got the strength to make an escape. She’ll either have to drag Dr. Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) out or come back for her.
