General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nelle’s (Chloe Lanier) time in Port Charles is winding down. Of course, that means her exit story’s about to heat up! Chloe Lanier is leaving the ABC soap to pursue other opportunities, but you can bet Nelle will go out with a bang. GH fans are anxious to learn this pregnant schemer’s fate, so let’s consider the clues we have so far.
Nelle just accepted Michael’s (Chad Duell) fake proposal, which is hint number one. Michael’s definitely committing to his plot, so we’re nearing the finish line. They talked to Chase about securing a marriage license, but there’s no way Michael’s marrying this psycho. There’s bound to be trouble before they actually tie the knot.
Sam (Kelly Monaco), Jason (Steve Burton) and Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) are working hard to secure the proof they need. Chase and Michael will join forces soon, so the walls should start closing in. We’ve also got the cologne floating around. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) and Oscar (Garren Stitt) are already mixed up in that. Later, Ava (Maura West) will catch a sniff and begin connecting the dots.
Plus, Sonny (Maurice Benard) is always going to be a threat. There are tons of GH characters involved in this mess, so we’ve got plenty of ways for Nelle to be exposed. Anybody could send her world crashing down!
However, new General Hospital spoilers point to a fierce faceoff between Chase and Nelle. There should be loads of drama between now and Nelle’s departure, but Chase could strike the final blow. Daytime Confidential’s sources insist Lanier’s taping her last scenes this week. We can pair that with some crucial clues from social media.
Josh Swickard tweeted, “@chloelanier SLAYED the game today on set. Lucky to be working with her. Can’t wait for you guys to see it.” It wasn’t long until Lanier chimed in with words of appreciation for her costar. “Thank you,” Lanier said. “I’m just as lucky to be working with you. You’re killing it!”
General Hospital viewers know Lanier is at her best during confrontational scenes. She really brings the tears and rage. Based on these tweets, that could be what’s looming. Chase may come up with the evidence to destroy Nelle, but she won’t go down without a fight.
Naturally, there are many questions left to answer. Does Nelle’s baby survive and if so, is it truly Michael’s? Will Nelle be killed off, get locked up or perhaps flee Port Charles? What other shockers will conclude Nelle’s messy storyline?
