General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nelle Benson’s (Chloe Lanier) dreams of a happy family with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) may go up in smoke! As Nelle’s plans slowly unravel, she’ll work hard to control the chaos. Nelle’s desperation will bring anxiety and grave danger for her unborn child.
Will Nelle have a miscarriage thanks to all her stressful scheming? That’d be the worst possible outcome for Nelle. She knows a life with Michael hinges on the baby’s survival. Nelle needs this kid to draw Michael closer, so it’ll be a disaster if she loses her little one.
Nelle certainly has some health issues that could affect her pregnancy. She’s only got one kidney and she’s been suffering from low blood pressure. The blood pressure situation is particularly concerning. That can lead to problems like premature birth or a low birth weight, so Nelle could be headed for trouble.
Of course, Nelle will already be juggling her Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) takedown plot as well as Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) looming setup. She’ll be busy making life miserable for these women, so she may not take care of herself like she should. At some point, Nelle’s world could fall apart with a baby tragedy.
General Hospital buzz suggests that Chloe Lanier’s contract could be wrapping up. Nelle hasn’t exactly been popular since her debut, but she’s gained a few fans lately. Carly’s a hypocrite, so some viewers are enjoying Nelle’s attempt to destroy her.
However, Nelle can’t keep trying to win Michael back forever. If GH writers can get creative and perhaps pull Nelle out of the Cortinthos clan’s orbit, there might be somewhere else to take the character. Lanier just won a Daytime Emmy, so she’s got that going for her!
Still, General Hospital spoilers say we can’t rule out Nelle’s potential exit. She could die along with her child or she could leave town after her miscarriage and the death of a dream! Whatever the case, soap pregnancies always bring scary moments. Nelle hasn’t had too much drama just yet, so she’s due for some more.
