General Hospital spoilers tease that Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) has a grand finale planned for her scheme to drive Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) insane. Nelle starts to see Carly catching onto her and becomes even more desperate as she sees her plans begin to unravel.
Nelle has to come up with a more permanent, although not deadly plan to get Carly out of her way and out from between herself and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Nelle knows that if there is even the slightest chance of being caught, she certainly doesn’t want to go down for a murder!
Nelle may witness Carly taking her medication and distract her long enough to look at the bottle and the medication. General Hospital viewers already know that Nelle has a key to Carly’s office, and nothing has been said about changing the locks because of the scarf incident. Besides, General Hospital fans know Nelle is a pro at getting info so finding out what she needs to know about Carly won’t prove to be an issue.
Many medications look alike, and Nelle could take a page from Ava’s (Maura West) playbook and switch the anti-anxiety meds for something that has psychotic side effects. The only problem would be that prescription meds may be a little difficult for Nelle to obtain but there’s always street drugs – in any case those details we will leave to the GH writers to work out.
We really haven’t seen Carly’s pills up close enough to tell if they are tablets or capsules; if they are capsules, Nelle may be able to tamper with them and refill them with the psychosis causing lookalike drugs, or obtain empty capsules that look like Carly’s pills and refill them and switch them out that way, as Ava did with Morgan Corinthos’ (Bryan Craig) bipolar medication.
But Nelle is much more diabolical than Ava – Ava didn’t mean harm to Morgan, she only wanted to keep him apart from Kiki (Hayley Erin). Nelle may choose instead to follow in the crazy footsteps of Heather Webber’s (Robin Mattson) and switch Carly’s pills for placebos spiked with LSD! After all, that would keep Carly tripping and incapacitated for a long time – maybe long enough to get her committed.
General Hospital spoilers tell us that Nelle’s May Sweeps baby shower will be the setting for Carly going completely off the rails. Will Nelle use drugs to help push her rival over the edge?
