General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that it’ll be Dr. Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) lucky day. She found a plan for her freedom when Anna (Finola Hughes) mentioned Nina’s (Michelle Stafford) daughter. Liesl heard about the DNA tests and suddenly Valentin’s (James Patrick Stuart) funeral swabbing made perfect sense. She’s holding the daughter lie over his head and it’s about to work out well for her.
Of course, Valentin doesn’t really deserve credit for that. Peter (Wes Ramsey) probably would’ve let Liesl rot behind bars if it weren’t for Maxie (Kirsten Storms). After they talk about Nathan’s (Ryan Paevey) love for his mom, Peter will make sure the charges against Liesl are dropped. She’ll be a free woman, but she’ll still find herself at Pentonville – just on the visitor’s side of the glass.
General Hospital spoilers say Liesl will stop by to see Nelle (Chloe Lanier), so another comeback’s brewing. Nelle will have a showdown with the woman who delivered her baby. GH fans expected Liesl to rejoin this storyline eventually. She knows Nelle gave birth to a healthy little boy, so it’ll raise red flags if she hears the kid was stillborn. Liesl will realize more deception’s going on in Port Charles.
Unfortunately, Nelle lied about bringing this baby into the world herself. Brad has no idea that there’s another threat to his happiness. He’s in for a rude awakening at some point, but let’s focus on Liesl and Nelle for now.
Next week, General Hospital spoilers say Dr. Obrect will confront Nelle and pry the truth out of her. She’ll force Nelle to admit the baby switch, so she’ll learn how Brad wound up with Michael’s (Chad Duell) son. Liesl is always eager to find dirt and it doesn’t get much dirtier than this!
If Liesl finds out Brad played a role in the Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) trap, she could punish him by revealing the truth. However, that’d be far too easy. Liesl’s the kind of gal who milks leverage for all its worth, so she may have a long-term strategy in mind. Brad’s worst nightmare may be coming his way soon!
