General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that some promotional pics are causing a major buzz on social media. GH tends to put out new photos of cast members from time to time. They usually throw in some new pictures of hot couples, too. That’s why one, in particular, has people bracing for a romantic shakeup.
Carly (Laura Wright) crossed paths with Peter (Wes Ramsey) briefly around the time of Faison’s (Anders Hove) death. Other than that, these two haven’t interacted. They’re not involved in each other’s storylines at all, but is that about to change? A new hint points in that direction!
GH made a promo pic that features both Wes Ramsey and Laura Wright. It’s an interesting choice since they’re currently not an item on screen. We should mention that they’re dating in real life, but the pic situation is still peculiar. After all, Vinessa Antoine (Jordan) only made promo pictures with Donnell Turner (Curtis). She didn’t get any with her real-life love, Anthony Montgomery (Andre).
When Ramsey first scored the role of Peter, many General Hospital fans suspected that Wright had something to do with it. Of course, Wright has a different story. In interviews and on social media, she’s quick to assure everyone that Ramsey got the part on his own.
Still, we have to think Wright had at least a little influence here. GH wouldn’t have given the part to Ramsey if they didn’t think he was a strong enough actor, but there were surely plenty of other guys in the running. Wright might’ve been able to nudge things in her beau’s direction.
Likewise, she could be pushing for a Carly-Peter pairing. Even if they don’t become a full-fledged couple on screen, a fling’s possible. You never know what the next few months will bring. General Hospital could have serious shifts in store romantically.
It’s worth noting that Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly also got a promo pic, so they’ll probably hang in there a bit longer. However, General Hospital spoilers say another round of “CarSon” trouble’s looming. They always face conflict that leaves their marriage hanging by a thread. Sonny and Carly’s relationship may head south soon, especially since they’re going to be physically apart for a while.
What happens once Carly’s a free woman again? Can you imagine the chaos that would erupt if Carly slept with Peter? Both Sonny and Jason (Steve Burton) would be outraged. All it takes is a few scenes of sympathy and bonding to set up a potential duo. There are loads of ways for General Hospital to push Peter and Carly together.
