General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nina (Michelle Stafford) will deal with more rejection. On next week’s new GH episodes, October 22-26, she’ll face another difficult setback. It sounds like Nina may contact Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) again and get the brushoff. Sasha’s feeling pretty overwhelmed at the moment. It didn’t help that Nina managed to insult Sasha’s adoptive mom during their first meeting.
However, Sasha could warm up to Nina in time. GH fans certainly saw a glimmer of hope in their initial chat. Sasha could see Nina’s charm, enthusiasm and caring nature. She may not be able to stay away, especially if Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) intervenes. We all know Valentin will do whatever it takes to establish this mother-daughter bond. He’s come too far for it to fall apart now.
Of course, General Hospital always has a few tricks up their sleeve. It just wouldn’t be a soap without some crazy twists here and there. When we’re dealing with a long-lost child storyline, it’s usually a tough and lengthy journey. Why did Valentin and Curtis (Donnell Turner) find Sasha lickety-split? What’s the catch? That’s what many GH viewers have been pondering lately.
Two DNA tests confirmed Sasha as Nina’s daughter, but they may not be entirely accurate. Valentin’s the one who provided the DNA samples, so there’s always a chance he set this up. If not, perhaps Sasha will turn out to be Nina’s sister. Regardless, the half a heart pendant still has to be found.
GH also provided clues that Kiki (Hayley Erin) might be Nina’s kid. If that’s the case, more heartbreak’s ahead. Kiki will most likely be killed off, so Nina won’t get a chance to truly connect with her. If General hospital takes that route, that’d open the door to another shocker. Since Nina might end up losing her daughter, doesn’t she deserve the baby she’s always wanted?
Maybe Nina will hook up with Valentin in grief and finally get her little miracle. It’d be a great way to wrap this plot up and push Nina toward a brighter future. It could spark a real Valentin and Nina reunion, too. Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) mentioned wanting a younger brother or sister, so perhaps Nina can give her one after all.
