General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Drew (Billy Miller) will have to reevaluate a big decision. There was a time when Drew was so fed up that he wanted to have his memory wiped clean. He didn’t even care that his Drew memories hadn’t resurfaced. Drew just wanted Jason’s (Steve Burton) life out of his head. It’s a life he didn’t live and it only makes him feel more haunted about what he’s missing.
Of course, having no memories at all might’ve been worse. It certainly wouldn’t have stopped Drew from feeling lost. However, things changed once Margaux (Elizabeth Hendrickson) produced the flash drive. Drew’s chance at his memories was suddenly possible, but it was also just out of reach. He wasn’t willing to turn against Sonny and help Margaux bring him down.
Now that Margaux has relented, Drew will have to decide what he’s going to do. It’ll take some convincing, but Drew will ultimately take the flash drive. Will he be willing to use it after all? That’ll be a tough choice for poor Drew. He’ll feel stuck between the memories he might lose and the memories he stands to gain.
There’s a possibility that Drew won’t remember anything that happened after the original memory swap. He could forget his relationship with Sam (Kelly Monaco), Scout’s birth as well as his bond with Danny (T.K. Weaver) and Jake (Hudson West). Of course, Drew could also forget Oscar (Garren Stitt) and that might be the worst risk of all.
Oscar may not have much time left, so the time Drew’s already had with him is crucial. He may not be willing to gamble on losing that – at least not until another General Hospital character gives him a nudge. When Oscar was in full-blown rage mode, he lashed out at Drew over his hypocrisy. A clear comparison was made that could come into play again.
Oscar pointed out that Drew was against having a dangerous memory procedure. He didn’t see why his dad should force him into a risky clinical trial when he wouldn’t take a risk himself. Oscar has softened now, so their next chat about this could be gentler.
The sick teen may find out that Drew has a shot at recapturing his history. If so, Oscar might push his father to go for it. That’s especially true if Oscar starts showing signs of improvement. Oscar may argue that if he hadn’t let Josslyn (Eden McCoy) talk him into this treatment, he’d be missing out on his future. If Oscar can’t talk his dad into his own procedure, Drew will be missing out on his past.
It’s doubtful that Drew will pass this opportunity up. GH could get a great story out it, so they might as well have Drew sign on. General Hospital spoilers hint that Drew’s true memories could complicate his life, but will the payoff be worth it? We’ll give you updates as other news comes in.
