General Hospital (GH) spoilers say the show may have just dropped a huge hint. When Sam (Kelly Monaco) recently appeared at Crimson, she found Maxie (Kirsten Storms) having a heated phone argument. Maxie declared that their rates were non-negotiable and suggested that Erica Kane should look that term up in the dictionary. She made the situation crystal clear to the person handling this for Erica.
Of course, most loyal soap fans know that name. Erica Kane was a popular character on All My Children for decades. She was played by the legendary Susan Lucci, so she’s certainly well-known in the world of daytime dramas. Could Erica be headed to Port Charles? General Hospital spoilers say it’s possible! Many viewers would love to see Erica blow into town and shake things up.
GH gave us another Erica mention a little later. Nina (Michelle Stafford) wanted to chat with Maxie about the file Peter (Wes Ramsey) made for them, but Maxie feared it was about her earlier outburst. She wondered if Erica Kane reached out to Nina with complaints.
Maxie was all set to defend herself, but Nina ultimately changed the subject to the Nathan (Ryan Paevey) mementos. However, the multiple Erica mentions may be significant. General Hospital could’ve had Maxie rant about any other made-up name. They didn’t even have to identify the annoying customer. With that in mind, GH’s Erica Kane namedrop seems crucial.
It’s possible they just threw in the Erica references for fun, but it’d be wrong to tease fans like that! Now that they’ve brought Erica up, GH surely knows viewers will get excited and look forward to her potential arrival. Let’s hope Erica will indeed make her way to PC. She could spar with Maxie, make some deals with Nina and find herself caught in some other form of unexpected drama.
