General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, August 2, tease that Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) will approach Mary Pat (Patricia Bethune). At Ferncliff, they’ll show up in professional garb and suggest that they’d like to discuss Carly’s (Laura Wright) escape. It looks like they’ll pose as attorneys and get their hands on some crucial info.
Jason (Steve Burton) pointed out that electroconvulsive therapy is a voluntary procedure. Sonny (Maurice Benard) didn’t sign off and Carly wouldn’t have signed in her right mind. However, she was VERY out of it thanks to all the drugs. Carly may not remember putting her signature on the form. Then again, Mary Pat could’ve forged it. She’d do just about anything to make Carly miserable.
General Hospital spoilers say Sam will swipe the ECT consent forms. That should help Carly avoid making a return trip to this awful facility. At the safehouse, Carly will fill Carly in on the rest of the plan and offer reassurance. He’ll promise that Carly’s never going back to Ferncliff, so let’s hope he can keep his word.
Meanwhile, Lulu (Emme Rylan) will go into investigative mode. After taking a slightly drunk Chase (Josh Swickard) home, Lulu will chat with him a bit more. She’ll realize that Nelle (Chloe Lanier) may have had an accomplice. Uh-oh. Ava (Maura West) had better take steps to protect herself. That’s exactly what she’ll do when she grabs the blanket and heads down to the docks.
Unfortunately, Griffin (Matt Cohen) will go for a run and spot Ava looking all suspicious. He’ll wonder what she’s up to, but Ava should be able to cover her tracks for now. Whether she gets rid of the blanket or not, Griffin should stay out of the loop. At GH, Nelle (Chloe Lanier) will seem glum about what’s ahead. She’ll tell Kim (Tamara Braun) that as soon as she’s released, she’ll be taken to jail.
Kim will offer Nelle a sympathetic look, so maybe she’ll say something heartfelt. Everyone believes Nelle’s baby died, which should score her at least a few pity points. Over with Michael (Chad Duell), he’ll continue to struggle. General Hospital spoilers say Sonny (Maurice Benard) will pat his son’s back and vow to be there for him. He’ll want Michael to know that he has someone to lean on.
Michael and his family are in for a shock eventually. Nelle’s latest round of deception will bring major consequences for Brad (Parry Shen) as well.
