General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, May 24, tease that Sonny (Maurice Benard) will fret about Carly’s (Laura Wright) fate. She’s stuck in legal drama thanks to Nelle (Chloe Lanier), so Sonny’s just trying to prepare for what’s ahead. He’s been forced to accept that possibility that Nelle’s telling the truth.
Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) can tell that Carly’s not herself these days, so she’ll warn Sonny. She’ll think Carly indeed spiraled out of control at that baby shower. Diane won’t know for sure if Carly pushed Nelle, but she wouldn’t be surprised.
Regardless, Diane realizes she might lose in court. She’ll have to walk Carly through some tough options soon. In the meantime, Carly will finally have a chance to face Michael (Chad Duell). She’ll be crushed by the look on his face. Carly can see the doubt all over pretty much everyone besides Jason (Steve Burton).
Nevertheless, Michael will give Carly a shot at explaining. He understands that Nelle doesn’t have a great track record, so he’ll let Carly share her side of the story. She’ll spill her version of events, but Michael may question why there’s no blanket. You can bet he’ll at least wonder why they fought at the top of the stairs. There were far safer places to face off.
While Carly tries to convince Michael of her innocence, Nelle will be quite pleased with herself. She’s lying about Carly’s shove, but she’s getting away with it so far. In fact, Nelle will think the situation has helped her bond with Michael. She’ll fill Josslyn (Eden McCoy) in on how close they’re getting and Michael’s sis will be incredibly supportive.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Griffin (Matt Cohen) and Kiki (Haley Erin) will get a shock. They’ll be jolted awake by the sound of Ava’s (Maura West) knocking. She’ll be desperate to get in Griffin’s room and apologize for the night before. Ava won’t realize her man’s already been sleeping with her daughter!
Kiki and Griffin will scramble to cover up their actions. Whether Griffin tells Ava to leave or Kiki runs and hides, they’ll have to handle this mess. Griffin will hope he can sweep this incident under the rug, but GH fans know he’ll get busted sooner or later. Secrets have a way of getting out in Port Charles, so Kiki and Griffin had better be prepared.
Across town, Julian (William deVry) will pay Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) a visit. He’ll offer her beautiful flowers as well as some comfort. Alexis had a difficult evening recently, so Julian will just want to check in. General Hospital spoilers say they’ll eventually lock lips, but Julian will be tossed out soon after. These two are always facing a romantic dilemma!
Over with Kim (Tamara Braun), she’ll try to help Drew (Billy Miller) see the light. He could lose so much if this memory mission goes wrong. Kim will want Drew to think about the consequences first. This procedure could cost Drew his life and leave his children fatherless, so he has to take that into consideration.
