General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that a big return is in the works. A recent episode of Daytime After Dark featured a revealing interview with Nathan Varni. The ABC network exec announced that Tristan Rogers is heading back to GH as Robert Scorpio.
Varni explained that the writers are cooking up a hot plot for Robert to get involved in. It looks like it’ll be a while before Robert actually appears on screen, but he should be worth the wait. General Hospital spoilers say May sweeps will bring plenty of drama, so that’d be the perfect time for Robert to get back in the action. Robert could become a key player in a looming storyline.
Rogers is also featured on The Young and the Restless from time to time, but they don’t seem to have a place for him lately. Despite the fact that Y&R’s gearing up for a big anniversary special, there apparently isn’t enough room for Rogers’ character. The CBS soap doesn’t appear to have any scenes coming for him down the road either.
That’s OK though. It just means Rogers will be free for his General Hospital arc. Y&R’s loss is GH’s gain! There’s no word yet on what will spark Robert’s return trip to Port Charles, but there are several interesting possibilities. Robert will likely get tangled up in some chaos that connects to Anna (Finola Hughes).
Peter’s (Wes Ramsey) keeping huge secrets, so some excitement’s brewing. General Hospital writers may take their time when it comes to exposing Peter’s deception. They don’t want to burn through all this juicy material too fast.
As a result, they could save some of the biggest reveals for May sweeps or at least right before it. Robert’s interested in all things Faison (Anders Hove). He’d want to know if Faison’s son was around and stirring up trouble.
Peter’s the kind of guy who can be ruthless when his back’s against the wall. General Hospital spoilers hint that Peter could easily take Faison’s spot as a cruel GH villain. Since he may have Huntington’s disease like his father, that could also affect Peter’s future. He could battle brain issues and act like man with nothing to lose.
Of course, there’s no guarantee that Faison’s gone for good. General Hospital fans know how tricky he can be. If Faison ever showed back up, it wouldn’t be the first time he cheated death. Faison’s latest exit was kind of a letdown for a villain of this magnitude. He deserves to go out in a blaze of glory!
