General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, May 29, tease that Peter (Wes Ramsey) will stand his ground with Robert (Tristan Rogers). He’ll insist that he has something big to offer, but Robert will only get it if he makes the charges go away. Peter’s plan will hit a snag or two, but he’ll hope he can use his leverage to escape consequences.
Across town, Anna (Finola Hughes) will be feeling overwhelmed by her son’s hatred and predicament. Finn (Michael Easton) will step up for Anna when she needs him most. General Hospital spoilers say their relationship will start to shift in the best possible way. Being honest with each other was a great start, so let’s hope they can keep the progress going.
In the courtroom, Carly (Laura Wright) will have to enter a plea for two counts of attempted murder. General Hospital spoilers say Carly will frown as the district attorney gazes in her direction. Elizabeth Hendrickson will portray Port Charles’ DA, Margaux. She’ll display some fierce determination as she works to lock Carly up.
However, Carly will go with Diane’s (Carolyn Hennesy) instincts and claim her mental issues are to blame. Margaux will try to poke holes in this insanity defense, but Carly will indeed land in a psychiatric hospital sooner or later. It beats prison, but it’s not ideal!
In the meantime, Andre (Anthony Montgomery) will have to be blunt with Drew (Billy Miller). When Drew once again pushed him to do the memory procedure, Andre will insist that his concerns are very real. He’ll want Drew to understand that he’s not just being overly cautious. Drew could legitimately die from this. Andre just has no way of knowing how the procedure will affect him.
Other GH spoilers say Liz (Rebecca Herbst) will get some shocking news from Franco (Roger Howarth). He’ll want to meet all her family since they’re planning on tying the knot. Franco will feel like the time is right, but Liz may have a few reservations. Franco’s past is always an issue, but he’ll want to push through any trouble and convince Liz that he’s fully committed to her.
Over with Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), she’ll spot Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) and request a consultation. Alexis will hope to explore a different side of herself in therapy. She’ll be willing to try anything if it means learning why she makes the same old mistakes.
Finally, Kiki (Haley Erin) will face more Dr. Bensch (James DePaiva) drama. She’ll get some alarming updates and fume that this could end her career before it starts. Dr. Bensch may be to blame for the mess, but he might think he can win Kiki over if he fixes it. Sadly, that scenario would just lead to more uncomfortable moments.
Kiki will take action against Dr. Bensch in the near future, but what about that hookup with Griffin (Matt Cohen)? Dr. Bensch may learn the truth and use it to his advantage down the road.
