General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, May 8, tease that Nina (Michelle Stafford) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) will discuss Peter (Wes Ramsey). Nina recently called off the investigation, but something tells us she’ll change her mind! Even if she doesn’t, there’s no way Curtis (Donnell Turner) will bail on Sam now.
Of course, Sam will do her part by grilling Nina. Despite the fact that she decided to back off, Nina will still have concerns about Peter’s agenda. She’ll suggest there’s something very off about that guy. Nina just won’t be able to shake the feeling that Peter’s trouble.
Meanwhile, Peter and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) will have a little chat of their own. They recently decided to shut down Robert (Tristan Rogers), so Valentin carried out a devious mission. He drugged Robert on a plane, so that problem’s been taken care of for the time being.
Nevertheless, GH fans know Anna (Finola Hughes) presents a problem. Peter will shout that Anna needs to be dealt with, but Valentin may not want to draw too much attention. It’ll only stir up suspicions if all the Heinrik hunters go missing.
Valentin may feel like they can take a gentler approach with Anna, but he could be underestimating her determination. She intends on doing whatever it takes to meet her son. Across town, Anna will have an opportunity to move forward with her scheme. Lulu (Emme Rylan) will summon her to talk about the Heinrik situation, which now includes an email from his mother.
Will Anna confess to sending the message? We’ll see if she’s got the guts to follow through on her plans. At home, Franco (Roger Howarth) will speak to Liz (Rebecca Herbst) about his recent meeting. He told Steve (Pressly Coker) about Jim’s (Greg Evigan) illegal drilling and all the suffering it caused. Steve suggested that he had an idea on how to help, so Franco will undoubtedly fill Liz in.
Despite any reservations Franco may be battling, Liz will probably think it’s important to push past his fears. He has to find a way to get through all the trauma. If righting Jim’s wrongs brings Franco peace, he needs to stick with it.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Drew (Billy Miller) and Jason (Steve Burton) will trade barbs. They won’t be happy about bumping into each other, but they’ll just have to deal with the conflict. Drew will push Jason’s buttons, so Jason will push Drew’s as well. Jason will suggest he’s not happy about sharing memories or anything else with his twin.
The sooner Drew remembers who he is, the better – at least that’s how Jason feels about it! For now, they’ll just try to avoid more of these encounters. Over with Ned (Wally Kurth), he’ll have a fierce faceoff with Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn). General Hospital spoilers say Ned will explode over the lawsuit Alexis is filing.
Ned will think this is personal for Alexis. He’ll accuse her of using this to keep her name front and center, but Alexis will deny it. She’ll contend that she only wants what’s best for struggling PC residents. We’ll give you updates as other GH news comes in.
