General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will soon be devastated and outraged. Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) done plenty of horrible things since his days as Ivan Theodore in spy school, but Anna still has a soft spot for him. She can’t help but care about him deep down.
That’s why Valentin’s latest betrayal will be so crushing. Once Valentin’s lies are exposed, Anna will have to deal with that terrible blow. She’s been desperate to find the son she had with Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) and Valentin could’ve pointed her to the truth all along. Instead, he kept Anna in the dark on Peter August (Wes Ramsey) aka Heinrik Faison.
Of course, there’s a whole twisted web for Anna to uncover. Valentin kept tabs on Heinrik his entire life, so he could’ve come clean at any moment along the way. He’s served as a mentor to Heinrik for many years, so they’ve established a bond and partnership. Anna should be furious that Valentin would deceive her like this. That soft spot we mentioned could become a cold, hard grudge.
Valentin will have a lot of explaining to do once Anna confronts him. At least he’ll try to explain! Anna probably won’t be interested in listening to Valentin’s excuses. She’ll just want to unleash her wrath and attempt to make amends with Peter.
Anna may blame Valentin for letting Heinrik endure such harsh treatment. He’s part of the reason her son became such a bitter individual. Since Valentin was monitoring Peter, he could’ve intervened and filled Anna in. She would’ve tried to wrestle Heinrik away from Faison’s grasp. Perhaps Anna could’ve prevented this path of vengeful destruction.
Peter has already been clashing with Valentin, but you can bet he’ll really turn against his mentor soon. Anna isn’t the only one who’s been lied to. GH fans know Peter’s also a victim of Valentin’s cruel deception. Between livid Anna and ruthless Peter, Valentin should be facing some fierce threats!
Can Valentin ever come back from his deep, dark secrets? Will this change how Anna feels about him forever or is there a chance Valentin will redeem himself? Regardless, General Hospital spoilers say Valentin’s got a long, difficult road ahead of him.
