General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) will take a huge risk. During a recent confrontation with Nina (Michelle Stafford), Valentin picked up on her nervousness. He knows her better than just about anyone, so he could tell she was hiding something.
Valentin promised he could handle any trouble Nina was in. Of course, he’d need a confession from Nina and she’s not willing to give him one. There are several reasons for her silence. For starters, Nina doesn’t trust Valentin anymore. Despite his claims that he wouldn’t use this against her, blackmail is always an option.
However, Nina’s main concern is likely just a failed plot. She sometimes battles guilt about what Peter’s (Wes Ramsey) going through, but her vengeful desires always rise back up. If Valentin learns what’s going on, he could free Peter and derail this whole plan.
GH fans know Valentin regrets handing Peter over to Faison (Anders Hove). If he knew Heinrik was stuck in captivity, he might try to stop the torture. For now, General Hospital spoilers say Valentin will have Nina closely monitored. He’ll be determined to get to the bottom of this mystery ASAP.
That’s probably what the phone call was about. It almost seemed like Valentin was ordering Anna’s (Finola Hughes) kidnapping, but that may have been a red herring. Instead, it appears Valentin simply set up some snooping. He insisted this was something he had to do for his wife. Valentin warned that there was no room for error, so he must fear the worst about Nina’s activities.
Whether Nina takes him back or not, Valentin will want to keep her from facing consequences. He doesn’t want Nina to end up in prison or even a casket. Nina’s safety and happiness matter to Valentin, so he’ll work hard to keep her life intact.
General Hospital spoilers say Valentin will quickly close in on Nina’s secret. She’ll scramble to keep him in the dark, but her strategies may not work for long. On July 12, Nina will tell a tall tale to keep Valentin under control. He’ll immediately sense that she’s lying, so he’ll call her out on it. Nina will stay committed to her bogus story, but Valentin will keep seeking the truth anyway.
Later, General Hospital spoilers state that Nina will also try some stall tactics. It sounds like Valentin will move toward a dangerous discovery. Will he find Peter and convince Nina to release him? Will Valentin surprise her by leaving Peter’s fate in her hands? Valentin’s a desperate man, so you never know!
