General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will point the finger at someone soon. Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) are currently facing most of the blame around town. We’d say Peter will be the one in hottest water here. Dr. O may hold Peter responsible for the death of her beloved son, Nathan West (Ryan Paevey).
Liesl is still grieving over this devastating loss. She fought so hard to protect Nathan from his evil father, Cesar Faison (Anders Hove). Since she knew how Faison would react, Liesl kept their connection a secret for many years. Faison might’ve turned pure, sweet Nathan to the dark side or at least mistreated him like Heinrik.
GH fans know Liesl always carried a torch for Faison, but now the she despises the thought of him. That hatred should transfer to Faison’s rotten son. Peter was determined to draw Faison out in the open and get him killed by Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). That plan paid off, but it also cost Nathan his life.
If Peter hadn’t been trying to get revenge, Nathan would still be alive right now. We can’t forget that Peter pushed Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) to investigate and ultimately approved Nathan’s interview. That was another way Peter set Nathan up for deadly trouble.
General Hospital spoilers say Liesl will enjoy meeting her new grandson, but that won’t ease her pain over losing Nathan. In fact, it could make her more determined to seek vengeance. Nathan isn’t around to raise his precious boy, so Peter deserves to pay for that. Liesl will certainly want to make her position clear.
You can bet Liesl will be quite the menacing grandma! She’ll undoubtedly want to confront Peter and vow to get him back for what he’s done. Peter has plenty of enemies, so he might just tell Dr. O to get in line. Liesl obviously won’t be too high on Peter’s list of concerns.
However, Peter really shouldn’t underestimate the power of a mourning mother. Liesl has proven to be unbelievably sneaky and deadly in the past, so Peter needs to watch his back!
