General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of August 20-24 tease that the action will heat up in Port Charles. We’ll kick things off with some crushing news. Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will have to deliver a major blow to Lucas (Ryan Carnes) and Brad (Parry Shen). The birth mom will want her baby back, so Brad will naturally freak out. The real Wiley is dead, which puts Brad in a tight spot.
As Brad struggles to find a way out of this mess, he’ll ask for Julian’s advice. It sounds like Brad’s confession will leave Julian in a jam as well. Kim (Tamara Braun) wouldn’t approve if she knew he was keeping this secret, but that’s exactly what he’ll do. The idea of devastating Lucas will be too much for Julian to bear. Instead, he’ll focus on finding the birth mom and hopefully sorting this out for “Brucas.”
Sam (Kelly Monaco) will be there for Lucas during this baby crisis. She’ll want him to know he’s got plenty of people in his corner. Meanwhile, Carly (Laura Wright) will lean on Sonny (Maurice Benard). After everything Michael’s (Chad Duell) been through, the failed adoption updates should be rough on Carly. She’ll hate to think of Lucas’ fatherhood dreams going up in smoke, too.
Fortunately, this adoption should get back on track sooner or later. Julian may be the one to save the day. Elsewhere, Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) will uncover a buried family secret. It seems the info will come from Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills), so this could involve Nina’s (Michelle Stafford) past. If so, maybe Nina has a long-lost child out there. Finding him or her could score Valentin some points!
While Valentin gains confidence in his reunion plans, Lulu (Emme Rylan) will reject an offer. Will this be about a job or will it involve a personal matter? Could Peter (Wes Ramsey) reach out for help with something? General Hospital spoilers say Lulu will tell Maxie (Kirsten Storms) what’s up later, so Peter’s involvement would make sense here.
Across town, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) will strengthen their bond. It looks like Kristina will let her walls down and offer a reason for keeping Alexis at a distance. Kristina is probably a bit embarrassed since her relationship’s on the rocks. She feels like Parker (Ashley Jones) has a very separate life from her. In fact, Kristina will even share cheating suspicions soon.
Finally, Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) will deal with a distraction. Of course, GH fans know Kevin’s evil twin is also in the picture. Based on the earlier scenes at Ferncliff, it appears Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) is actually masquerading as his brother. Perhaps Kevin will be one of the reasons he’s distracted. Between Ryan’s sessions at GH and keeping his twin locked up in a mental institution, there’s a lot to juggle!
