Prince Harry’s paternal scandal is once again rocking Buckingham Palace. This time around new reports suggest that former Welsh guards officer and family friend Mark Dyer might be Prince Harry’s real father.
A lot of royal observers can’t help but notice that Prince Harry looks a lot like the former Welsh guards officer. A lot of people have even said that the 51-year-old looks a lot like Harry. What’s more, reports say that Mark Dyer has even been invited to Harry and Meghan Markle’s upcoming royal wedding on May 19.
Mark has always been in Prince Harry’s life and is even considered a mentor to the young royal. As a matter of fact, Meghan was photographed with Mark by her side at several public events in recent months. Mark and Princess Diana were also very close before her untimely death in 1997. They were friends, but no one knows what kind of close friends they really were.
Of course, this isn’t the first time that Prince Harry’s paternity has been put into question. We’ve all seen and heard of this before. For years now, it’s been reported that Princess Diana’s former secret lover James Hewitt was possibly Prince Harry’s real father. The theory has never been confirmed and James himself has dismissed the claims as untrue. Still, it hasn’t stopped royal fans and critics from speculating and wondering if Prince Charles is indeed Prince Harry’s biological father.
Clearly, this is the last thing that Prince Harry needs to deal with right now. In just a few short months, he’ll be marrying the woman of his dreams in what will most likely be the wedding and celebrity event of the year. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are about to start a new life together. Harry doesn’t want to have to deal with the same old reports.
There’s also a strong possibility that Harry might become a father himself in the near future. It’s no wonder that Prince Harry refuses to make any comments about James Hewitt or even Mark Dyer for that matter, as he’s always maintained that Prince Charles is his one and only real father.
