Prince William is stuck between his wife Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle’s alleged royal rivalry. New reports suggest that the competition between Kate and Meghan is beginning to rub off on Prince William and his brother, Prince Harry.
According to In Touch, the Duchess of Cambridge is apparently shutting out her new sister-in-law. Kate doesn’t like that Harry and Meghan are moving next door to them at Kensington Palace. She also feels as though Meghan is a threat to her, as she’s been slowly but surely pushed to the side. William, meanwhile, can’t take the stress anymore as Kate’s competitive side is getting the best of her.
One source told the publication, “Their husbands are at their wits’ end. William and Harry feel stuck in the middle. William is doing his best to smooth things over. The competition is out of control. Things are likely to go from bad to worse, and so much tension is built up.”
At this point, it looks like Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle have a hard time being in the same room with one another, let alone ever get along. Before Meghan married Harry, the Duchess of Cambridge was the star of the show. But that has all changed now that the media is focusing on all things Meghan Markle.
After all, a lot of royal fans and critics alike will agree that the Duchess of Sussex is exactly the kind of person that the monarchy needs right now. She’s intelligent, she’s well spoken, she’s passionate about her charity work and above all, she’s beautiful. Some would even say that Meghan is exactly what Kate should be.
Unfortunately, Prince William and Kate Middleton haven’t even put in half of the effort that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have put in during the first month of their marriage. The Duke of Duchess of Sussex are the new stars of the show, whether Kate Middleton likes it or not.
So far Kensington Palace has not made any comments about the supposed feud between Kate and Meghan. Although at this point, it’s doubtful that they will. Kate and Meghan might never become best friends, but they have to work together for the sake – and the sanity – of their husbands.
