It’s week 2 and the vets get nervous when they arrive at their workroom to find Host Alyssa Milano. She cannot believe what a mess they have made. She jokingly sprays the place with a fire extinguisher. She gives them their next challenge, distressed post-apocalyptic fashion. They get to sketching and creating the storylines for their characters.
Off to shopping with a 30-minute timeline. Many of the vets plan to use dye and fire to distress their pieces. Back to the workroom, they start using blow torches, bleach and more while wearing their goggles.
Merline is going to try and do a 3D garment with candle drippings. Stanley will use fire to create a great gown. Kelly is having a difficult time creating the textile. Anthony starts freaking out. He doesn’t like distressing. Josh calls him a precious lady.
There is 8 hours left. Anne arrives to see what they have so far. Ari plans to distress a lot. Anne stresses the time she has left. The others are not distressing too much. Josh shoots paintballs at his dress. Anne approves and watches him with a laugh. She helps Anthony see his vision better before she leaves. He feels better about his direction but has trouble starting the blow torch. He prays to god before letting it rip!
The models arrive. They try on the designs and then head out. The gang has 1 hour left before the end of the day. It is time!
The judges are announced. Georgina Chapman, Isaac Mizrahi, and Danielle Brooks will all decide. All of the models take their walk dressed in a variety of distressed pieces, from gowns to pantsuits and bodices. The all-stars commend each other for their work as their models walk the runway.
The judges clap. They think it was all amazing. Isaac thought it was an exciting showing. Alyssa calls Ari Merline, Char, Kelly, and Anthony, asking them to step forward. They are part of the highest and the lowest scores. She asks all of the other designers to go backstage.
The judges commend Anthony all his design. They all agree that they love this dress. They also like Stanley’s dress but he could have changed the top up a bit. Isaac thinks it looks too swap thing. Georgina thinks Kelly needs to control her over accessorizing. Isaac loves Ari’s dress. Alyssa does too. They will now take some time to deliberate and then call them back.
The judges all talk about what they liked best as the all-stars sit out back stresses out. Alyssa calls them back out. Ari is deemed safe. Anthony is the winner this week. Merline is safe. Char is also safe. Kelly and Stanley are both left. Kelly is the loser this week. She is sent home.
