Thanksgiving is almost here, so many soap fans will be spending time with their loved ones over the next few days. Whether you’re a football family or you’re only into daytime dramas, you’ll want to be prepared for what’s ahead. That’s why we’ve got a soap Thanksgiving preemption schedule for you. If you’re wondering which soaps will air and when, then read on and plan accordingly.
Let’s start with General Hospital (GH). Port Charles kicks off the Thanksgiving action in Wednesday’s episode, but there’ll be a brief break in the action. On Thursday, General Hospital spoilers say a special encore episode will air. They’ll throw it back to 2000 with a classic, so that should be fun if you’re looking for something to watch while the turkey cooks.
Friday’s episode will be preempted for football coverage, which means GH won’t be back with a new episode until Monday, November 26. That’s when they’ll pick up the Thanksgiving festivities again in PC. There should be some great moments for some beloved characters, so don’t miss what’s in store.
We should also talk about Days of Our Lives (DOOL). Wednesday marks the last new episode of the week, so DOOL fans will just have to suffer through Thursday and Friday’s preemptions. On the bright side, Days of Our Lives spoilers say some fantastic drama’s cooking up next week. It’s sure to be worth the wait!
Moving over to the CBS soaps, let’s discuss The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B). Like Days, Wednesday’s episode wraps up all the Thanksgiving scenes. Thursday and Friday will be preempted, but B&B will jump right back in their current storylines once Monday rolls around.
Things will be a bit a different for Thanksgiving week on The Young and the Restless (Y&R). CBS won’t air a new episode on Thursday, but Y&R fans can expect a fresh one on Friday. In fact, Friday’s show will be a real doozy!
In addition to all the usual heartwarming stuff, some J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) investigation chaos will break out. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will start to sweat thanks to the latest developments. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Y&R will deliver a can’t-miss cliffhanger, so this holiday week will end on a high note.
That’s it for your soap Thanksgiving preemption schedule! CDL’s always got you covered. Stay tuned to all your favorite soaps and don’t forget to check back often for the latest spoilers, updates and news.
