They soon realize that the whole previous day is a complete blank, and suspect that they were purposely drugged. The mystery deepens when, back at the office, a client they have no recollection of meeting returns to thank them for helping her recover her lost dog.”

Sam and Eddie freak out when they wake up naked in bed together. Sam takes the sheet to cover herself, she can’t find her clothes. Their clothes are gone, the cell phones are gone and so are their wallets.
Sam and Eddie go get blood drawn to see if they have been drugged and show notices that she has ES4 written on one of her fingers and doesn’t remember writing that.
At the office, Sam and Eddie arrive and both Monica and Berto have questions about where they were the night before. The mystery continues when their client, Jackie Jarvis, returns to thank them for their help in trying to locate her lost dog, but he returned home on his own. Neither of them remembers seeing her. They have little information about the day before, but Berto and Monica try to help them piece together the day. Berto finds a charge on Eddie’s credit card for Sunset Bistro, they head over there and find out that they were there yesterday with a guy who had a beard and a black baseball cap. Monica finds a photo of Eddie and Sam kissing yesterday when they were at the Sunset Bistro and it’s in the tabloids.
A blacklight passes Eddie’s hand and he notices a circle on it.
Sam goes to an AA meeting and tells them that until the day before she was 188 days sober. She goes on to say that she saw a picture of herself with a drink in her hand and she doesn’t know if she drank it because she was drugged.
Eddie checks Sam’s hand, she has the circle as well; they were at a club together the night before. The two head to the club, it’s a sex club. They start asking questions and both get thrown out of the club. All of a sudden a car speeds up, guys jump out and put black backs over Sam and Eddie’s heads and force them in the car.
Sam and Eddie are in a room, with two henchmen and a woman. The woman asks them why they are looking for Trevor, they think she is talking about the dog, but it is the man with the beard and the black baseball cap that was in the Sunset Bistro.
Monica and Berto track down the driver of a car that Sam and Eddie took the night before, there was a dash cam with a video of the two making out in the back seat, Monica buys the disc from the guy so it doesn’t get released to the media.
Berto tells Sam and Eddie that Jackie, the owner of the dog, doesn’t exist any longer, she was a fake. Nothing about the case makes sense.
Eddie and Sam track down Trevor’s rental property and knock on the door but nobody answers. They go around back and find four victims.
The results have come in from the blood test, Sam and Eddie were drugged. The good news, Sam’s blood alcohol was zero, so she didn’t drink.
Rollins tells Eddie that the Feds are taking over the case, they all need to leave the house. Eddie and Sam stay close and notice that their supposed client, Mrs. Jarvis is on the scene. Eddie takes a picture of one of the license plates and has Berto check it to see who they are going up against.
Sam and Eddie go back in their car and Trevor are in the back seat. This whole thing comes down to a vial, Sam and Eddie are supposed to have it and were supposed to keep it safe. The vile contains a deadly toxin that could wipe out the entire city.
Sam thinks Jackie drugged them but Eddie doesn’t believe anything at this point. Sam finally realizes what the ES4 is, it was a movie she made and in the movie, she hid a necklace in a drain, so she thinks they hid the vile in a drain.
They find the file, it is in a drain like they thought and when they look up, Trevor is there and he pulls a gun on them.
Trevor gets a call, the buyer is there. The lady in red, Mistress Kim is there and she is the buyer. Sam pretends to faint, it gives Eddie enough time to grab a gun and for the FBI to run in. Trevor has the vile in his hand, he says that he is going to drop the vile. Jackie shoots his hand and the vile falls to the floor. Sam and Eddie run, there is a shower, they run in and shower. Jackie introduces herself, her real name is Angela and she is a special agent. It wasn’t nerve gas, it was the knockout gas, they switched the vials. The FBI drugged them because they didn’t want them to know anything, this was all Trevor, he is an FBI agent that went rogue.
