The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers are pleased to report that Jacob Young, who portrays Rick Forrester on the CBS soap, has announced a new addition to his family. Rick has been married to wife Christen Young for 11 years, and the two have three beautiful children: Grace, Molly, and Luke. But it was time for a new addition…a puppy!
Those of us with fur babies know how important our pets are to us. Adopting a new pet is a big deal, and it looks like this one was decision involving the whole family. Their new puppy is a gorgeous black, brown, and white rat terrier named Scooter.
Jacob took to Instagram to introduce his family’s new puppy, Scooter, to the world. Jacob published a picture of his daughter Grace hugging the very patient little pooch. “Little Grace with our newest addition Scooter. This picture melts me,” he wrote.
Jacob’s wife Christen also published a video of Grace with Scooter on a leash (see below), plus a more formal picture of the very photogenic puppy on her own Instagram account.
The puppy came from Clearbrook Kennels, who specialize in rat terriers and who Jacob thanked in his Instagram post. Rat terriers are energetic and playful little dogs that make great pets.
Congratulations to Jacob and his family on their new addition! There has been buzz generated by Jacob himself about the possibility of returning to General Hospital as Lucky Spencer – fans of GH hope he does.
