The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that one soap star has something to celebrate. Karla Mosley (Maya) is pregnant with baby number one! Mosley was recently spotted sporting a small bump and an expectant glow on the red carpet. She showed up at the GLAAD Media Awards last week and finally let her secret out.
This is great news for Mosley and her boyfriend, John Rogers. Soap Opera Digest reveals that Mosley’s bundle of joy will arrive in August. In the meantime, Mosley and Rogers can prepare for their new little boy or girl. There’s a lot to do before the big day arrives, so these parents-to-be should stay busy.
Of course, we have to talk about how The Bold and the Beautiful will handle this pregnancy. Mosley doesn’t have a huge story right now, so she usually just pops up for appearances here and there. Still, the show will have to conceal her impending arrival. Maya is transgender, so they can’t write Mosley’s pregnancy in.
Instead, Maya can simply carry giant bags, stand behind counters, sit at especially tall desks, etc. There are plenty of easy ways to cover up the baby bump! In fact, that’s always a fun part of the process for fans. Whenever a soap has to come up with some pregnancy disguises, it’s entertaining to see which ones they choose.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers suggest that nothing major’s in the works for Rick (Jacob Young) and Maya. That’s a bummer since many viewers would like to see more of them. However, it should give Mosley extra prep time for her son or daughter. Maybe Maya can get meatier material after Liam’s (Scott Clifton) love triangle wraps up and Mosley returns from her maternity leave.
