The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that some couples should be together, even if they’re not. A subjective take for sure. But logic also plays an important role in this soapy perspective.
Liam (Scott Clifton) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Woods) are having a baby. Unless the paternity test results were wrong, or purposely changed, Bill (Don Diamont) is not the father. Can we hear heartfelt “Thank you!” from all in B&B’s audience who value sanity. Only the bent, twisted and depraved were rooting for Dollar Still.
Yes, Liam has loved other women, including Hope (currently played by Annika Noelle). Steffy has been involved with other men, including a dalliance with Bill years ago. But these remarried people love each other right now and created a new life that will be born this summer. Their daughter’s existence alone, is incentive enough for this couple to work.
Steffy will persist. So Liam must prove that he’s open-minded, as he’s so often claimed.
Wyatt (Darin Brooks) and Katie (Heather Tom) just broke up, but they shouldn’t have. Watie would probably be together if Mr. Role Play had the guts to call out Katie on the wedding day kiss he spied through her telescope. (Don’t ask if that scene wasn’t digested. Just take this scribe’s word for it.) But Wyatt didn’t and Thorne (Ingo Rademacher) the opportunist moved right in, thank you very much.
Katie could easily become smitten with her sister’s ex-husband. Oh, Thorne’s name needs to be typed again because Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) has been married to so many different people.
Wyatt is now on a motivated rebound. As for Hope, well, she’s gorgeous and unable to cross the Steffy line, for now. So Hyatt might reform, but it won’t be better than Watie was.
Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) was right. Brooke is the love of his life and Bridge deserved to be rebuilt. It happened in record time and then delivered an absolutely beautiful daytime wedding ceremony and after party.
Brooke was right to leave Bill, considering all that she learned. As for Ridge’s flirtation with Quinn (Rena Sofer), it didn’t mean anything. Yes, this Bridge is now strong.
Maya (Karla Mosley) and Rick (Jacob Young) are solid. Mrs. Forrester must keep that in mind if Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) persists in his efforts to revive something with Maya.
Complicated histories surround all three characters. But Maya and Rick truly love each other and are raising their adopted baby. That little girl deserves supportive love, which is another reason why Carter needs to look elsewhere.
Are there other duo’s that could be mentioned? Of course, valued readers are free to add their thoughts. CDL is a leading source for everything linked to The Bold and the Beautiful. Check back regularly for B&B spoilers and news!
