The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Bill (Don Diamont) will be shot after having a confrontation with Ridge (Thorsten Kaye). Katie (Heather Tom) will find the father of her child near death at his house, which will serve to save his life. Katie’s instant reaction removes her from the suspect list.
Ridge will have already left by the time Bill’s attempted murdered took a shot. Meanwhile, Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) has already been pushed on the audience as the prime suspect in this crime. Everyone knows Sheila’s history. She’s easily capable of having pulled the trigger. But, unlike other instances, Sheila had no motive – unless she could pin the crime on Quinn.
Yes, Ridge grabbed her at Il Giardino the other day after he had a verbal spate with Bill in front of the outdoor restaurant’s customers. Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) dad told Sheila that if she really wanted to help the Forrester’s she would end Bill’s life.
Brown’s character stood mute as that episode-ending scene took place. Surely her connection to Eric (John McCook) has subsequently caused her to consider following through on Ridge’s suggestion. But wouldn’t it be too easy to make Sheila the villain once again?
Thomas (Pierson Fode) has just returned. So a cursory review of his supposed motive, as it would relate to Bill having previously persuaded his niece Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) to claim she was dying, thereby interfering with Thomas’ love for Sally (Courtney Hope) at the time makes mild sense.
Sally already took a shot at Bill. Well, she shot at his Sky(scraper) model. The obviousness of her threat to Bill’s life is so intense to make her guilt suspect, rather than having Hope’s character actually be the suspect.
Liam (Scott Clifton) is too wishy-washy to use a gun. If B&B ever reveals that he’s the attacker, then the entire writing staff should be furloughed. Wyatt (Darin Brooks) was enraged by the way his father spoke to Katie. But Brooks’ character still evidences fear of Bill. So this son angle doesn’t work.
Eric is a possibility. While he was outraged to learn what happened with Steffy, that seems too much of a stretch to think that the head of Forrester Creations and the Forrester clan, Mr. Forgiveness himself, would commit such an act.
Quinn (Rena Sofer) fought off Sheila, proving that she will fiercely defend her own whenever it’s necessary. But Mrs. Forrester just warned Bill. Enough time hadn’t passed for her to follow through on what was a genuine threat, right?
Maybe Taylor (Hunter Tylo) learned what was going on, flew into Los Angeles and handled the matter? Nah.
But what about that side character, whose name isn’t relevant. Readers know, he’s the guy that Bill just fired. Jarrett (Andrew Collins) worked at Spencer Publications for years and was accused by Bill of being disloyal during the time Liam was momentarily in charge.
Yes, a nondescript person like that guy would be the perfect perp to try and kill Bill. He, or someone like him could be easily written out after being arrested and put in jail.
