The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that something strange is going on with Bill (Don Diamont). He recently had a conversation with Wyatt (Darin Brooks) about the baby. Bill found out Liam (Scott Clifton) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) are having a girl.
However, Bill suggested that Liam seemed like he wanted a boy. He also wanted to know if Liam acted happy about the impending arrival. It’s almost like Bill is jealous of his son. Maybe that’s because Bill secretly wanted this to be his child – or because it actually is!
Remember when the paternity results came in? Bill made a suspicious appearance right outside the lab. There was a huge sign right behind him when Steffy spilled the big news. The Bold and the Beautiful was likely setting up the option of test tampering. They may not have known if they’d take that route or not, but it was smart to lay the groundwork anyway.
Now Bill’s awfully inquisitive. It feels like more than just a typical grandfather’s curiosity. For example, Bill was pestering Wyatt about the sonogram. He was adamant about getting a picture of this little one. Bill also flew off the handle about having a right to be in his granddaughter’s life.
It’s almost like Bill wants to fill Liam’s role here. That may just be his hidden desire, but there’s also a chance that this is actually his kid. Perhaps Bill’s having a hard time keeping his mouth shut. He wants to give Liam the opportunity to forgive Steffy, but it might be getting tougher.
Bill knows Steffy’s desperate to save her marriage, so maybe that’s why he’s chosen to keep quiet about the true paternity. Will Bill change his mind if Liam refuses to reunite with Steffy? If Liam gets back together with Hope (Annika Noelle), it could certainly set Bill off. He might reveal the truth in a fit of rage.
Once Bill’s sure Liam and Steffy are officially done, he may intend on coming clean and building a life with Steffy. Of course, that plan probably wouldn’t work out as well as Bill hoped! Since a B&B shooting appears to be brewing, Liam or Steffy could easily fire at him over this. Ridge would be a prime suspect, too.
