The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Wyatt (Darin Brooks) will move toward a decision about Watie. He’s been seeing his dad’s ex-wife, Katie (Heather Tom) for months. Recently earth-shaking developments between Bill (Don Diamont) Liam (Scott Clifton) offer a fresh perspective on family loyalty. In this instance, it’s a misguided view of reality.
Wyatt and Katie have been deeply concerned about Bill’s anticipated reaction to their relationship. But now, they should stop being hesitant. He has zero high ground to stand on. It’s an opportune time to tell him how they feel and to accept no slack about it. Why would his take matter?
So Wyatt has romantic feelings for his dad’s ex-wife. And what of it?
Why should Katie, who’s the mother of Bill’s third child, be afraid of what her ex-husband thinks? Has no one ever become involved with another single person after having been married?
Katie was right to call out Bill after having met with Steffy, who’s still devastated and will be reeling for awhile. Katie confronted Bill as, possibly, only she’s capable of doing.
All family issues are now off the table. That means Wyatt and Katie should feel free to go public with their relationship as soon as possible.

Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) is an open-minded individual. Yes, she was surprised that her sister acknowledged being with Wyatt. But Brooke supported this new couple because both parties make each other happy. That’s truly the measure, rather than adjusting to other people’s hangups.
Bill surrendered all rights to yell, scream and shout about why his son shouldn’t be with Katie the moment he made love, or whatever that was, to Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Dollar Bill’s opinion on anyone’s romantic connections isn’t worth two cents.
Of course growth and eventual redemption is possible. In time maybe Bill will demonstrate enough consistency to earn his way back to trusting relationships with both of his older sons. But that can’t possibly happen anytime in the near future, even on this soap.
While it’s true that Bill and Steffy consented to what happened between them, the deeper truth lies in Bill’s actions. He took advantage of a deeply vulnerable person. That made him more wrong.
Moving forward Bill needs to work every single day to live better. He may never fully repair the breaks in his personal relationships. Choices to reconcile can only be offered by those who he’s negatively impacted, which are many.
