The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) may have an uphill battle ahead of her. She’s chosen to side with Bill (Don Diamont) in the custody dispute between him and her sister Katie (Heather Tom). Katie is going after full legal custody of Will (Finnegan George), and Brooke doesn’t agree with her decision to do so.
Brooke feels that Bill deserves to be an active part of Will’s life and that it’s in Will’s best interest to remain in contact with his dad. While Brooke acknowledges that Bill’s made some pretty serious mistakes lately, like obsessing over Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) rather than paying attention to Will, she believes that he should be given a chance to make things right rather than be ripped apart from his son.
And now that Brooke has secretly made her feelings known to Bill, of course Bill is pushing her to talk to Katie on his behalf. B&B spoilers say that Brooke will indeed talk to Katie, and she’ll discourage Katie from going through with the custody suit.
It’s difficult to imagine this conversation going well at any level. Katie is probably going to be livid that Brooke isn’t taking her side, especially after all of the things that Bill has done to his sons in the recent past, and after all of the things that Bill has done to both Brooke and Katie in the past.
Katie will likely fill Brooke in on all of the visitations that Bill has postponed or missed entirely over the past few months, thinking that Brooke will certainly have a change of heart and start supporting her in the dispute. But it looks like Brooke will still maintain that Will is better off with both parents in his life.
Just how civil this conversation will be remains to be seen, but expect a major rift between Brooke and Katie going forward. Katie will likely feel betrayed by Brooke and worried that now Bill has some credible support for his side in the custody dispute. Things will get even worse if Brooke decides to actually speak on Bill’s behalf at the custody hearing.
