The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that the first clue about Donna’s (Jennifer Gareis) new storyline has surfaced. Now that Donna’s back on contract, she’ll be getting plenty of airtime and stirring up loads of conflict. B&B must’ve had a good reason for letting Donna rejoin the mix, so let’s consider what that might be.
On Tuesday’s episode, Donna arrived for Thorne (Ingo Rademacher) and Katie’s (Heather Tom) nuptials. She couldn’t help but flash back to her own wedding to Eric (John McCook). Many viewers were already suspecting that Quinn (Rena Sofer) might have some competition. Now that Donna’s had some warm memories, that seems like a sure thing.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers have been promising a big storyline for Quinn and Eric. Unfortunately, months went by without any drama at all. It’s possible John McCook’s hip surgery delayed B&B’s plans a bit. Regardless, it appears the new “Queric” plot is finally moving full-speed ahead.
The show tried reintroducing Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) as a fierce competitor for Quinn, but that didn’t really work. They tried to keep Quinn as a changed woman and Sheila wasn’t exactly the nasty villain she used to be either. The war was too tame and that’s why Sheila was relegated to serving up breadsticks. Eventually, Sheila faded out entirely.
Donna’s a better choice since she could pose a legitimate threat to Quinn and Eric’s marriage. Unlike Sheila, Donna’s got a good heart and a family who loves her. Quinn could become the underdog if Eric and Donna’s feelings resurface. That could flip the switch and test this marriage on Quinn’s side.
After Quinn and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) had their kissing fling, Eric decided he could move past it. He forgave Quinn, who was genuinely remorseful. What happens if it’s Eric’s turn to cheat? Will Quinn show her hubby the same forgiveness? That may depend on how far this betrayal goes! There’s a big difference between sneaking around for lip locks and actually hitting the sheets.
