The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Friday, August 17, tease that Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will give Taylor (Hunter Tylo) a stern warning. She’ll reiterate that she wants her mom to support her at the wedding, but not if Taylor can’t behave. Steffy will make it crystal clear that Taylor can’t cause a scene.
Taylor will promise to sit down and shut up, but that’s not how things will actually play out. B&B fans know soap nuptials have to deliver some good drama. Taylor and Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) feud will provide a whole lot of it, which is exactly what Brooke’s afraid of.
In Friday’s Bold and the Beautiful episode, Brooke will try to talk some sense into her daughter. She’ll remind Hope (Annika Noelle) of what’s at stake and urge her not to take any chances. Brooke will likely mention how Hope’s last wedding to Liam (Scott Clifton) was derailed. She’ll wonder if Hope really wants this one derailed, too.
However, Hope will insist that everything’s going to be just fine. She’ll be confident that everyone can come together and celebrate the “Lope” union. Hope will think this is an important part of closure for Steffy. She won’t uninvite Steffy or Taylor, so Brooke will have to suck it up and prepare to see them at the gathering. Again, this plan won’t go well!
In the meantime, Liam will get updates on the latest invitations. He’ll be surprised to hear that Steffy agreed to attend the nuptials. During a chat with Hope, Liam will talk about how hard this will be for his ex. He’ll find it difficult to imagine Steffy watching him marry Hope, but that’s exactly what she intends to do. Liam will undoubtedly praise Steffy for her bravery and acceptance.
Later, Taylor will agree to Brooke’s request for a meeting. That’ll leave Steffy filled with dread. She’ll worry about a fight breaking out, so she’ll call Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and offer a heads-up. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Ridge will try to curb the conflict, but there’s no stopping Taylor and Brooke’s explosive showdown.
