The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Hope (Annika Noelle) and Liam (Scott Clifton) are leaning into couple status, whether either person knows it or not. Yes, Hope is playing the long game by allowing any possible Leffy reunion to occur. But Liam’s falling in love again and that’s what drives the increasing possibility of this revived pairing.
Viewers see it in his eyes. Liam has directly told Hope on a number of occasions that she’s the person he trusts. That’s a direct message to his former wife. He’s interested in becoming friends first.
The stunning reveal was far too much for Liam to digest. It will forever cloud his mind and heart. He’s just begun taking small baby steps by communicating with the outside world on a more regular basis. Liam is basically asking for Hope’s help in his healing process.
Liam can convince himself of whatever he likes. But what he’s actually doing is attempting to rebound from Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) to Hope. That makes sense because he’s hurting.
Steffy was desperate. That’s why she asked Hope to deliver a Valentine’s present to Liam, on the lovers holiday in question no less. The box of candy hearts, with lovey dovey messages applied, was received. However, an ending fade-away shot showed Liam and Hope looking into each other’s eyes. Further bonding was occurring.
Noelle’s character honestly encouraged Steffy to not give up on Liam. In turn Steffy told Hope that, while she had been suspicious of her motives, she was happy Noelle’s character had returned home. Daytime devotees can easily foresee a future scenario where Hope and Liam do recouple and Steffy feels betrayed by Miss Logan.
Separate from the romance angles is the baby Steffy is carrying. The reality of that human being’s life will impact Liam’s world moving forward. If there was no baby on the way, Liam’s consideration, along with Hope’s, would be vastly different.
Hope is wise to not jump head-on into another relationship with Liam based on their complex romantic history. Of course on B&B who isn’t entangled with someone’s significant other?
As a matter of soapy fact, the half-hour nature of this particular show, as compared to daytime’s three other hour-long steamers, makes for a smaller cast size. Thus, there are only so many stories that can be told, involving a limited number of people.
Weaved together with history, there is an overlap that is often unbelievable. However, B&B fans regularly employ the suspension of disbelief method and enjoy this edition of delightful escapist fantasy.
