The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal Karla Mosley, who portrays Maya Avant Forrester on the wildly popular CBS soap opera, have taken to social media, proudly posting photos of her brand new baby girl.
Along with the gorgeous photos, Mosley says, “Seems the word is trickling out. Welcome Aurora Imani! Mom and Dad couldn’t be more proud of you. (Born at home on 8/17 at 12:29am. 8.1 lbs 22 inches. Already posing.) She brings the Light, she walks with Faith.” All of us here at CDL, would like to offer our sincerest congratulations to the proud parents on the birth of the healthy baby girl!
B&B fans know Karla Mosley for the intensely dramatic role she portrays as not only the wife of Forrester heir, Eric Forrester III (then-Jacob Young), but for being the first character in daytime drama to be transgender. She more recently has been in background storylines since actor, Jacob Young was dropped to recurring status so he could pursue other opportunities, including his music.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers know that Karla Mosley has taken maternity leave but it is unclear how long she will be gone and if her absence widely noticed. Before Mosley went on leave, she left a vidoe for fans, promising them she will be back and was sad to be leaving.
But The Bold and the Beautiful viewers know most recently, her character, Maya has been in the background with most storylines lately, mostly due to the fact that there was no way possible to write her real-life pregnancy into the show; so it remains to be seen how Maya’s absence will be explained.
