The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Liam (Scott Clifton) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will stay together. The animalistic pull of Dollar Still won’t prove strong enough to wreck this family.
Broad-minded observers, or those who apply that label to themselves, believe in the power of twisted love. Of course said thought begins with loving one’s self completely. Those empowered minds see past the traditional boundaries of so-called morality, decency and whatever common sense is supposed to be. Yes, Dollar Still supporters grasp the inherent greatness that a relationship between Steffy and her husband’s father could bring.
People like Bill (Don Diamont) and seemingly Steffy, believe in playing to their base instincts, just like animals and other lesser creatures. Brilliant beings spout equality with soulless creatures, including plants and trees. That purposeful philosophy fuels a do-whatever-one-wants approach to life. “If only all humans could see things this way”, those big brains collectively think.
Steffy claims that she felt compelled to leave her ocean-front home on the day that Liam told her he kissed Sally’s beautiful lips. The word beautiful wasn’t used, but facts are belittled when feelings rule.
In stark contrast, Ridge’s (Thorsten Kaye) behavior provides hope (no, not Annika Noelle, yet) of Steffy’s inner nature. As B&B viewers have seen, Ridge has convinced himself that Bill was solely responsible for taking advantage of Steffy. That translates into a papa bear protecting his cub, which is the opposite of what Bill did to Liam’s life, wife and now-family.
Why should the parents of this coming summer-born baby remain together? No, Liam needs to apply permanent ointment to his emotional wounds. He’ll use the signed annulment papers as the applicant. Enlightened flash mobs raise that false flag.
Liam should behave like any other another adult in a regressive society who pushes mental drift as lifestyle choice. This is one instance where the word resist would be used properly.
Progress doesn’t happen when human beings allow their emotions to overtake them. Doing so is as old-fashioned as trying to find B&B on the AM radio dial.
When considering each intentionally referenced topic above, actual reality emerges. As time passes clarity should appear as well.
Liam and Steffy aren’t personality matches. She’s better-suited to Bill, regardless of the age difference. Hope appears to be Liam’s ideal mate. But Liam and Steffy are married and are having a child. Both choices are infinitely important and created responsibilities, not just me-first rights.
Human beings aren’t robots, who lack free will. Are there links in the fossil record that prove one being morphed into the other over time, thereby creating advanced animals? What say you Mr. Spencer? Bill apparently rejects real science and instead chooses to believe that he’s no different than a beast in the wild. Reject his pull Steffy.
