The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers has been documenting all things Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). That’s because she’s the woman who literally positioned herself between her husband and father-in-law. Liam (Scott Clifton), her husband, had been an idealist until recently. Current events caused him to finally see reality and then acknowledge that Steffy and Bill (Don Diamont) likely belong together.
Some are and will continue to be appalled by the fact, not theory, that Bill loves Steffy. She also appears to fit with him, though Wood’s character hasn’t admitted that to herself.
Once Steffy digests Liam’s rejection she’ll be primed to be consoled by Bill, not just for one night, but on a long-term basis. Oh yes, Dollar Still was not a one-off.
Of course it was morally wrong for Steffy to sleep with her husband’s father. Of course it was wrong for Billy to have tracked Steffy down on the now infamous night in question and then put her and himself in a terrible personal spot. But they did that, Liam obtained annulment paperwork, presented it to his wife and recently told her that he will never be able to forgive her. Emphasis noted on the word never.
Liam has come to realize that Steffy and Bill share similar personality types. He’s come to understand that his wife and his father (yes, it remains incredible to even type that) were drawn together due to problems within Leffy’s marriage. Ah, soap.
Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) learned about what happened from Steffy. As B&B’s audience knows, Liam’s wife seems intent on telling every soul in Los Angeles what happened. That’s actually a subconscious indicator projected to seek reaction from all receivers. It’s a way of introducing the concept of Dollar Still.
After taking Ridge’s (Thorsten Kaye) fist to his left eye socket, Bill endured his most recent ex-wife’s verbal comments. Brooke now knows why Bill oddly acquiesced to her annulment request.
She quickly came to realize that Bill loves Steffy and hopes that his feelings are able to be returned. Yes, Bill is adamantly claiming that he wants Leffy to remain together and raise their expectant child. But just beneath that false facade, he wants Steffy to marry him.
Again, both characters are evidencing similar personality traits. Some may despise this notion, or reject it as real. But Steffy and Bill belong together. Liam sees it and so should every single B&B fan.
