The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Scott Clifton Admits Liam Shot Dad – Bill Should Count Easter Blessings He’s Alive

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers have documented Bill’s (Don Diamont) many dramas. Most recently he was shot, but the identity of that criminal remains a mystery. However, this situation actually reveals Dollar Bill’s Easter Blessings.

B&B fans should encourage Bill to see his Easter basket as at least half full, instead of half empty. Yes, he’s lying in a hospital bed during the holiday season. It’s true that he’s made countless mistakes, especially in recent months. But he’s alive, which also provides an opportunity for redemption.

Let’s assume the worst, Liam (Scott Clifton), Bill’s own son, shot him. Even if that proves true, which it will, Liam wasn’t himself when the golden gun was fired. Scott Clifton stated in a recent SOD interview that he is 100% the shooter and was shocked when Brad Bell let him in on the big secret. Clifton said he didn’t share the big secret with anyone, not even his wife!

An incredible sequence played out last week, March 26-30, that showed Liam having hit his head on a rock. That blow apparently didn’t leave him unconscious for long, as Liam got up and saw his father proposing to Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). He then trailed Diamont’s character to his house and shot him in the back. This assumes, of course, that Liam’s jarred memories are accurate.

Bill can be grateful that the shooter has been identified. He no longer has to worry that a second attempt on his life will be taken. As far as son’s act, Liam has recognized what happened, knows there’s something wrong in his mind and will now be able to receive help, though possibly within a confined facility for a period of many years.

Alternatively, if Liam’s realization proves to be a fantasy, and Scott Clifton is keeping a big secret from the public, then Bill will have found an opening to bond with the son he wronged. He’ll realize the depths to which Liam has fallen and help him to receive proper mental health treatment. Doing so will play well in Steffy’s eyes, which could aid Dollar Still’s reunion plans Clifton’s character will be away for a period of years.

The timing of the shooting also prevented Bill from finalizing the legal papers that Justin (Aaron Spears) was eager for his boss to sign. By not cutting Liam and Wyatt (Darin Brooks) out of his life, Bill has maintained ties. That keeps Wyatt working with him and may allow Liam to return to the family company some day as well.

Separately, Ridge has been given a chance to cool off. The blue suit he was issued by the Los Angeles authorities isn’t overly stylish. More importantly, this time away from his family has enabled a chance for meaningful reflection. Possibly, he’ll treat Bill better in the future. If he does, Ridge won’t be the number one suspect if future crimes are committed against Mr. Spencer.

Yes, perceptions are what one makes of them. Bill’s Easter blessings exist, if he chooses to see the upsides to his reality. CDL is a leading source for everything linked to The Bold and the Beautiful. Check back regularly for B&B spoilers and news!
