The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) won’t let Hope (Annika Noelle) get in the way of her hopes and dreams for Kelly (Zoe Pennington). Hope has just dropped the bomb that she is unwilling to let her own daughter bond with Kelly if Taylor (Hunter Tylo) is going to be a part of Kelly’s life. This development breaks Steffy’s heart, because she very much wants Kelly to have a sister.
But Steffy’s determined not to cave in to Hope’s demands about how she should live her own life. Steffy feels that she has every right to have Taylor be a part of Kelly’s life, and that it’s only natural to do so. But does that mean that Steffy will have to give up on her dream of Kelly having a close-in-age sibling to bond with?
Heck no! B&B spoilers indicate that Steffy will consider taking matters into her own hands and giving Kelly a sister by…adopting! This would be a very “Steffy” way of dealing with the situation. She’d be achieving two ends: (1) giving Kelly a close companion for life, which is very important to Steffy, and (2) showing Hope that her threats of withholding something important from Kelly are worthless.
Of course, if Steffy were to adopt a sibling for Kelly, it would be entirely consistent with Steffy’s “I choose me” perspective on life right now. Steffy could show her kids (and everyone else) that she doesn’t need others to create a meaningful and enriching life for her kids. And she wouldn’t be dependent on Hope and Liam (Scott Clifton) to be a “family.”
But it would still hurt that Kelly has a sister (Hope’s baby) that she won’t be close to, but at least if Steffy adopts, then Kelly won’t be deprived of the experience of having a close sibling. By adopting, Steffy would essentially take away Hope’s power to hurt Kelly by depriving her of something very important.
